I want to make whips that

are fun to look at and exciting to use.

I started making whips simply because I wanted cute whips. I wanted to make something that sparks excitement just by looking at it, and brings even more joy when you use it. Classic designs are certainly charming, but I wanted something freer and more unique—so I decided to make my own.

The reason I am particularly drawn to fancy plaiting is the tremendous freedom it offers in design.
This technique requires a great deal of time and effort, and to be honest, there are moments when I think, “I never want to do this again.”
Even so, the sense of accomplishment when a piece is finished is incomparable, and the appeal lies in being able to express my vision exactly as I imagine it.

In making whips, I value not only visual beauty but also usability.
My ideal whip—the one I truly want to hold myself—
a unified feel, natural and light movement, sharp responsiveness, and ease to crack —
to realize these qualities, I put great care into both my production process and design choices.

For the internal structure as well, I adopt an approach that eliminates unnecessary elements as much as possible.
I minimize the use of tape and adhesives, focusing on a construction that allows the material’s natural movement and balance to shine.

For non-order pieces, I often step away from traditional color schemes and patterns, drawing inspiration from characters and stories I love, and creating through a free and experimental approach.

Since I began making whips, I have come to truly understand the difficulty and depth involved in creating a good one.
Through that experience, my respect for the skills and individuality of other whip makers has grown deeply,
and at the same time, I have felt a strong desire to imbue my own work with my own philosophy and style.

Each whip born from that process carries experimentation, trial-and-error, and careful attention.
I would be delighted if you could pick one up and experience its lightness, responsiveness, sharpness, and design for yourself.
