About bullwhips
This whip is a single-handle bullwhip made with lightweight and highly durable paracord. It is flexible and easy to handle, and its lightweight design makes it less tiring to use for long periods.
While primarily designed for BDSM use, models with a braided length of 4 feet (about 120 cm) or more can also be used for cracking. The cracker is replaceable, making it suitable for more practical training as well.
Striving for a light and smooth, easy-to-use experience
The starting point of my whip-making was very simple: I wanted to make cute whips.
As I continued experimenting, I realized how important lightness is in a bullwhip.
I’m not particularly strong, and when I enjoy BDSM or practice cracking for long periods, I get tired quickly.
That is why I became dedicated to lightness and controllability.
For reference, a typical 120cm (4ft) whip I make weighs around 190g.
It all began with experimenting by adjusting the length of metal beads inside the core to search for the ideal balance point.
Through that process, I happened to discover that reducing the beads made the whip surprisingly light and much easier to handle.
The less physical presence it had, the more control I felt.
That was when I realized that lightness can give both freedom and precision.
I also use a slightly softer metal for the core.
This allows power to flow naturally from the handle to the body, making the transition almost unnoticeable.
The softer core gives the whip a subtle, smooth flexibility—
a small difference, but one that creates a distinct feel compared to harder cores.
Responsiveness is also a priority.
Rather than relying on weight, I aim for a design that moves cleanly and naturally.
By keeping the whip light and balanced, the tip moves smoothly without requiring extra force or attention.
A lighter tip starts with very little effort and can produce a satisfying crisp sensation.
Overall, my goal is for the whip to feel like it moves along with your hand, rather than needing to be forced forward.
Why not waxing the whips
The whips I make are not waxed. This is a deliberate choice to preserve the natural texture and lightness of the material.
For that reason,
I do not recommend using them outdoors or in environments where they may easily get dirty.
In the past, I once ordered a paracord whip for myself without fully considering how wax might change its color and texture.
The craftsmanship was outstanding, but the color impression had changed significantly, and it felt different from the image I had imagined.
That experience led me to adopt the policy of avoiding finishing methods that may alter the color or surface feel.
Wax also adds a small amount of weight.
Since my focus is on creating whips that are light and easy to handle, I currently choose not to use wax.
However, this is simply my design philosophy, not a rejection of wax itself.
If you prefer, you are welcome to apply wax yourself after purchase.
First and foremost, I hope you enjoy the natural texture and light, responsive handling of the whip just as it is.
What is droping strands?
The bundles of paracord used when braiding the whip (called “strands”) are gradually reduced in number toward the tip. This process is called “droping strands ”.
By reducing the number of strands, the whip naturally tapers, creating an ideal shape and flexible movement. Also, the pattern and appearance of the whip change significantly depending on which color strands are dropped and when.
If you have strong preferences for the design, you can specify on the order sheet which colors to drop and in what order. If no specific instructions are given, I will proceed with braiding based on my judgment to achieve the most balanced and beautiful overall look.
Making Your Own Cracker
While I do offer extras, you can also make your own very easily at home if you prefer. A cracker is simply a replaceable piece that exceeds the speed of sound when cracking the whip.
If you’d like to try making one yourself, here’s a helpful YouTube tutorial that walks you through the process step by step:

To make it even easier, I’m happy to include some paracord core free of charge with your order if you’d like to experiment with making your own crackers. Just let me know when placing your order, and I’ll add it to your package.
